the great migration...a little blog-keeping

there are several things happening (and it seems all-at-once) so i wanted to make sure regular visitors here are aware of all of it.

the biggest is that i've decided to move this blog - verve&verse - to wordpress. after 3 years, alas blogger, i hardly knew thee! there are several reasons as to why this is occurring:

• i like the look and feel of wordpress...it's quite beautiful, and since a major part of this blog is verse/wordcraft/poetry and beauty...it just makes sense
• i will begin to manage several other blogs (see below) and they are in wordpress, thus it's easier to manage this one from wordpress as well

as i just mentioned, i am stepping in to help manage and contribute to several other blogs that are hosted in wordpress:

• the sustainable faith blog (managing and contributing, beginning at the end of November)
• the central maryland vineyard blog (managing and contributing, beginning right now)
• the deep church blog (not managing, merely as an irregular contributor)
• and of course, my own: the verve&verse blog (managing, contributing...)

there will be a few blogs that i manage that will stay with blogger:

• the maryland human trafficking task force blog
• the vineyard bible study blog

anyway, i have all ready begun cross-posting to verve&verse on wordpress, and will continue until the end of December, but as of January 2010, i will stop posting to this one...i will post more reminders as the time gets close for the final migration...
